Job Responsibilities & Requirements POSITION SUMMARY The Welder/Fitter performs fitting, fabrication, assembly, and welding operations in a production environment. This position reads and interprets engineered drawings, layouts and fits components, prepares materials for assembly, and performs ARC and MIG welding to manufacture quality products. The Welder/Fitter ensures components are properly aligned, fitted, and welded in accordance with engineering specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Possess all tools required to perform essential duties and responsibilities. Read and interpret engineered drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications.
