Job Description: The Behavior Specialist reports to the Assistant Director of Ohana Higher Levels of Care while part of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for ensuring a safe and therapeutic milieu, providing psychoeducation in individual and group settings, and supporting treatment plan implementation. In addition to direct patient care, behavior specialists will acquire skills in screening, data entry, and documentation, principles of behaviorism, de-escalation techniques and collaborative problem solving. Other important dimensions of this position include commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and quality of care and outcomes measurements, professionalism, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.…
