Job Description: Position Summary The Palliative Medicine Service Nurse Practitioner functions under general Nurse Practitioner Standardized Procedure approved by the Interdisciplinary Practice Committee (CIDP.) The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides routine care and management of the patient with acute and chronic complaints, in collaboration with the supervising physician and through implementation of standardized procedures. The NP reports to the Manager of the Supportive and Palliative Care Department and is responsible for working in collaboration with a physician, and other palliative care team members, in an active practice to deliver palliative care and related health care services to patients and families.…
