JOB SUMMARY: Interpret requirements and preliminary system design of a configurable product from Applications Engineers and produce a design output package that can be used on the manufacturing floor to build product. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Interpret design input requirements from Applications Engineering. Size and select purchased components and configurable manufactured items that meet the overall requirements of the system. Create 3D models of parts and assemblies, general arrangement, assembly, and detail drawings using Solidworks for new or improved products, and configured products to customer order.…
