About this role

About the role Muon seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical engineers who tailor Muon's spacecraft platforms to specific missions. This team owns all electrical customization a mission requires. This includes adapting our flight-proven avionics, power, and payload-interface hardware to mission requirements. As a result this team and role is more customer facing than other engineering roles. The work is closer to application engineering than new-product development: design work is focused and targeted, and the ability to deeply understand and debug existing designs is essential.
