About this role
The Estimator I is responsible for aiding the project lead estimator during the bid process. Assists in preparing quantity take-offs on projects, obtaining price estimates and bids from subcontractors and material vendors, and with budgets and bids by collaborating with the preconstruction team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Identify scope items within plans and specifications. Inform and update preconstruction team about estimate progress and or challenges. Supports preconstruction team with all items required to submit bids. Organize, review, and analyze subcontractor proposals to identify any scope inconsistencies. Performs quantity takeoffs across multiple trades in preparation for bid and budget submission. Assist project team with required documentation for job turn-over meetings.…
