About this role

Overview: We are seeking a Clinical Medical Lab Assistant to support the work performed in the Institute for Genomic Medicine (IGM) laboratory. The Medical Lab Assistant is responsible for clerical and patient care support tasks which enable technologists to complete testing of patient specimens in a timely manner. Schedule- M-F 8:30 a-5:00p. Job Description Summary: Provides clerical, registration, and patient care support. Ensures that specimen preparation, accessioning, and processing is completed. Performs waived laboratory testing in applicable lab sections. Offsite Lab Sections: Responsible for specimen collection including venipuncture, capillary, sweat chloride, and miscellaneous other collections.…
