About Position Overview: The Maintenance Associate is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the Near North Montessori (NNM) school campus, within and around the building and other designated areas. This position can operate equipment and systems with an eye for detail and care for the school community. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Clean designated area as scheduled, including: classrooms, storerooms, corridors, stairways, janitor's closets, and shop areas. Sweep, dry and wet mop floors using various equipment and tools. Clean and spot clean rugged areas using vacuum cleaners and hand spot cleaners. Dust, wax, and polish furniture in shared community spaces. Clean, scrub, maintain sinks and countertops in shared community spaces. Empty trash, recycling and compost.…
