About this role

The Designer is responsible for design and drafting services that meet the utility client’s requirements and expectations while conforming to appropriate Codes and Standards for the associated project. Detailed designs and drawings include:   · Substation Layouts · Wiring Diagrams · Power & Electrical Distribution · Electrical One-Line Diagrams · Schematics · Interconnection diagrams · Plans-Lighting, Grounding, Power, Heat Tracing, etc. · Conduit/Cable Schedules · Electrical Details   The Designer should be aware that the design process includes visiting clients’ facilities and performing physical work such as walking, standing, climbing ladders and lifting.
