Job Summary: The Infusion Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end order processing for infusion services, including order intake, chart review, insurance eligibility, patient scheduling, and ensuring timely processing of infusion orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing intake processes for infusion orders including creating patient charts, reviewing and entering orders, obtaining clinical requirements, and communicating with prescriber on missing documents.
- Verify insurance eligibility, obtain clinical requirements for authorizations, and track patients’ progress.
