Job Summary Direct and support chemical technicians to assure chemical and environmental compliance for boiler water and environmental chemistry. Performs chemical department functions such as maintaining chemistry and environmental compliance and making budget and safety decisions in an electric generating station. Essential Functions Supervises union hourly chemical technicians and Chemical Technical Trainers. Documents and evaluates employee performance Enforces company policies Researches and conducts grievance hearings. Interprets and applies company /union contract. With the assistance of the Chemical Technical Trainers, trains and certifies apprentice technicians for step progression and job qualification.…
