About North Shore Health is a 16 bed critical care hospital with a 37 bed long term care facility attached. North Shore Health has a fulltime position open for a Lab Tech (MLT or MLS). We also have several openings for Casual Lab Techs. This is a generalist position that includes testing in all areas of the lab: Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Serology, Chemistry, Microbiology and Transfusion Medicine. Other required duties are: phlebotomy, specimen processing, clerical and technical tasks, continuing education, competency, training, and other lab responsibilities as needed. We provide laboratory services for outpatients and Care Center residents as well as 24/7 laboratory services for our hospital and emergency departments.…
