About the Opportunity JOB SUMMARY: The Associate Research Scientist will conduct integrated experimental and theoretical research on the mechano-electrochemical behavior of battery materials, electrodes, and cells. The primary function of the position is to advance new knowledge about the materials science and engineering for energy materials and devices, particularly Li-ion batteries and direct recycling of electrodes. The scientist will also lead a research project in collaboration with Saint-Gobain, funded by ARPA-E. The role combines hands-on battery fabrication and characterization with rigorous data analysis, AI, and new material development.…
