School of Civil and Environmental Engineering is a school under College of Engineering and is a leading school for Sustainable Built Environment. The key objective of this position is to support the development of simulation models for coastal infrastructure, such as seawalls and dikes. Key Responsibilities: Develop simulation models. Conduct laboratory-scale tests. Validate the models using field test data. Publish research findings/papers in high-quality top journals. Prepare proposals for further research and development. Mentor and supervise students. Job Requirements: PhD in Civil Engineering or a related field. At least 1 year of relevant experience in machine learning and structural health monitoring.
