Base Pay: $21.70 Hourly . SUMMARY: Assists the County Engineer in managing and directing the development and implementation of engineering projects and programs, including planning, design, and construction. The employee is required to be on duty before, during, and after natural disasters and emergencies, as directed by the supervisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Inspects roads, bridges, rights-of-way and drainage ditches, traveling throughout the county for on-site inspections. Compiles and maintains records for various rehabilitation or construction projects. Assists in preparing department budgets. Coordinates, plans, and evaluates projects using project management methodologies.…
