Base Pay: $24.12 Hourly . SUMMARY: Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of Nueces County jail facilities, equipment, and building systems. Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, mechanical, doors, locks, security hardware, fixtures, and general building maintenance. Because the position operates within a secure correctional facility, the employee must comply with applicable Nueces County Sheriff’s Office policies, jail security procedures, and Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) requirements applicable to assigned duties. The position combines facilities maintenance responsibilities with correctional officer duties as assigned.…
