About this role

Position Overview The Diet Assistant processes meal orders for patients in order to promote a positive patient experience with the meal service. The Diet Assistant takes meal orders from patients, families or nursing staff either over the phone or by visiting the patient at the bedside. The Diet Assistant processes menus for Behavioral Health patients. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Food and Nutrition Services, UHS Binghamton General Hospital Primary Work Shift: Rotational Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24 Compensation Range: $17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience ----- Education/Experience Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
