The work Front-End Developers build the browser experience people use to understand information and complete work. Working in modern component frameworks such as React, they translate user and product needs into components, interactions, forms, navigation, and stateful workflows using TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. The role owns more than appearance. You structure state and data flow, integrate APIs, handle loading and failure states, protect browser-side boundaries, and test behavior across users, devices, and browsers. You use semantic HTML first and add Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) patterns when native elements do not provide the interaction a component needs.
