SUMMARY: The Dietary Associate at PACE Southeast Michigan performs routine functions in the dietary department including food preparation, food service, cleaning and other duties assigned under the direction of the Registered Dietitian and Day Health Center Manager. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: Assists in the preparation of food and is responsible for serving meals, snacks, beverages and nutrition supplements using portion control and applicable sanitation practices. Prepares meals in accordance to diet orders and ensures participants are served the appropriate meal in a timely manner. Washes, sanitizes and stores dishes and adaptive feeding equipment. Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies. Ensures proper labeling of food placed into storage.…
