Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for construction inspections at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL Essential Functions: Serves as a construction representative, responsible for monitoring the contractor’s quality control and inspection program for construction of various facilities and infrastructure. Works with engineers, architects, and technicians to help solve technical issues during design and ensure constructability is a major factor in solutions. Reviews plans and specifications for clarity, completeness, and the ability to construct in accordance with applicable codes and permits. Helps coordinate Pre-Construction Meetings with 6th Contracting Squadron including all interested parties to discuss scheduling, mission impacts, safety, relocation of occupants and any other concerns.…
