Job Description: Overview: The Archaeological Technician is responsible for conducting field and laboratory tasks in support of archaeological investigations and regulatory compliance. Working under the supervision of a Project Archaeologist, this role assists in survey, excavation, documentation, and artifact processing activities while helping ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: ∙ Conduct archaeological field surveys, including shovel testing and site documentation, following established procedures and protocols. ∙ Collect and record GPS data for field observations and site locations. ∙ Clean, label, catalog, and curate artifacts in accordance with lab standards and guidelines.…
