Job Description: Overview: The Instrument Operator I is responsible for operating surveying instruments and assisting the Party Chief in conducting field surveys. This position is part of a three-person crew and supports the successful completion of land surveying projects. Responsibilities: Load and unload surveying supplies and equipment from trucks. Inspect and test survey equipment to ensure proper functionality. Operate surveying instruments such as data collectors, Total Stations, levels, and GPS-RTK Receivers under supervision. Conduct field work to determine the location of natural and man-made features on land surfaces. Assist in gathering precise measurements of lines, angles, points, areas, elevations, and boundaries.…
