About this role
Under the general supervision of the Director of Campus Safety, the Campus Safety Officer (CSO) is responsible to provide a safe and secure environment for the university community and all of its members and to provide a variety of services which enhance the quality of life on campus. This position can have assignments such as assisting with the operation of the Campus Safety Department through the front desk/telecommunication center, and or on foot or vehicle patrol handling calls for service. This position could be assigned to work on any of the three shifts (day, evening, or overnight shift), or an overlap of the two shifts. Weekends and special details are also required to provide 24/7, 365 days a year security and service to the main campus.…
