About this role
o Providing support for the mother during labor o Monitoring the fetal heart rate, and mother’s vital signs o Measuring the strength and timing of contractions o Administering medications and performing diagnostic tests o Consulting with physicians and other members of the care team o Assisting with inducing labor o Coaching the mother during delivery o Identifying and assisting with complications o Assisting with various procedures, including Cesarean sections o Monitoring and performing tests on newborns o Providing education and support to mothers and families after delivery Qualifications ** Must have at least 2 years’ experience (will review if close or hitting 2 years by start date) ** **Large academic facility experience must be noted on profile** **Prefer previous travel experience…
