WWD’s Beauty Inc seeks an experienced reporter in its New York office to join the growing team. The beauty reporter will cover product launches and events, trending news and business stories. The role will involve cultivating beauty industry contacts to break news and develop trend stories, as well as keeping tabs on cultural events and social media for trending beauty coverage. Additional responsibilities will include occasional reporting for WWD’s other sections including fashion and the Eye. The ideal candidate should have at least one to two years of writing and reporting experience. Must be a quick writer who is able to generate news and trends stories, and apply best practices for SEO to optimize readership.…
