POSITION SUMMARY
The Full-Time Promotores de Salud (PdS) sits within the Community Engagement (CE) department and serves as a bridge between Spanish-speaking immigrant and under/uninsured communities and Planned Parenthood of Greater New York’s (PPGNY) services and ensuring equitable access to care. This role builds trust, provides culturally responsive outreach and education, connects community members to PPGNY health centers and other resources, and supports patients during appointments. The PdS will conduct outreach and education across NYC and Nassau County, make appointments, provide interpretation and support to patients, and collaborate with community-based organizations, local leaders, and internal departments. This position is NYC-based and requires regional travel.…
