About this role

JOB SUMMARY This position operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, secondary equipment, and grinders, to machine metallic and nonmetallic workpieces by performing a variety of duties. This position is on 2nd shift. Hours are 4:30pm - 1:00am M-F. OFFERING A $ 2,500 SIGN ON BONUS FOR MACHINISTS AT OUR CAROL STREAM LOCATION! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Verify conformance of work piece to specifications, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and go-no-go gauges. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Secures all tooling and instruments required; Positions and secures work piece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures.…
