Follows established nursing standards, procedures, and practices. Accountabilities Diagnoses patient conditions and their causes. Interviews patients about symptoms and complaints, and determines if a psychiatric disorder has a physiological or emotional basis. 20% Screens patients for physical illness and analyzes explanations for psychiatric illness, such as developmental issues, family dysfunction, genetics, neurological trauma or social or cultural problems. Assesses risk factors for mental illness and broader wellness evaluations. 20% Provides a range of therapies to patients.…
