About this role

Optometric Examiner Location: Columbus, GA Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Job Type: Full-time About the Role Review medical history documentation and conduct one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension evaluations for U.S. Veterans. You will document findings electronically via a web portal to assist the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in disability award determinations. This is a non-treating, non-prescribing, in-person assessment role. Key Responsibilities Review order requests, military service records, prior exams, and medical history. Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and Medical Opinions (MOs) through an EMR system during exams. Explain the evaluation process and confirm claimed conditions with each Veteran.…
