Location: ProMedica Health and Wellness Center Department: Gastroenterology Weekly Hours: 40 Status: Full time Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Summary: The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling all patient appointments for outpatient and inpatient testing and specialty appointments . You provide the patient with all instructions needed for test preparation, directions to the facility and time and date of the appointment. You also make sure the facility is approved by the patient’s insurance carrier. In this role, you may keep a log of outpatient tests and inform physicians if tests have not been scheduled. Documentation is important in this position as you may utilize patient charts and forms, or practice management software as needed.…
