Location: Defiance Regional Hospital Department: Surgery Weekly Hours: 0 Status: Per Diem Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Summary: Sign on Bonus for External applicants: $7,500 As a Surgical Technician, you use your knowledge of anatomy, patient needs and departmental procedures to prepare for and manage surgical cases at ProMedica. You will ensure sterile field integrity by using aseptic techniques and addressing any breaks in sterile technique quickly. Teamwork is key in this role as you work with the circulating nurse to keep an accurate count of sponges, instruments and sharps in accordance with department guidelines.
