*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S. Design and develop new features and functionalities for OCI registries inside of Red Hat, including quay.io and registry.redhat.io. Adopt an AI-first approach to engineering that leverages tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to rapidly develop scalable solutions for quay.io. What You Will Do: Maintain virtual globally distributed infrastructure for quay.io running on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS, including EC2, Aurora Postgres, RDS Proxy, Kinesis, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, and more. Utilize knowledge and experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, Go, Python, Javascript, React, Git, Redis, SQL, and OCI to maintain and grow quay.io.
