REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT CLASS TITLE : CUSTODIAN BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Operations Manager, perform routine cleaning and custodial activities at an assigned school site or facility. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Perform routine custodial activities at assigned District site or plant. Clean classrooms, restrooms, showers, locker rooms, shops, cafeteria, gymnasium, offices and related facilities. Sweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish concrete, linoleum, tile and wood floors, door panels and hand railings. Wash windows and walls; clean chalkboards; move and arrange furniture and equipment in preparing classrooms/multi-purpose rooms for special events or meetings.…
