Behavioral Health Safety Technician 0111 Float Pool Day shift. 24 hours weekly. 6:00a-6:15p. Under the direction and supervision of the RN, the Behavioral Health Safety Technician (BHST) is an NCA responsible to provide daily services involving basic care for patients, answering the telephone and intercom, provides 1:1 supervision for patients with high risk of assaultive/aggressive/suicidal behaviors, performing a variety of clerical duties and clinical tasks as well as other assigned unit duties. The Behavioral Health Safety Technician (BHST) is also responsible for following the individual treatment plan and program rules in the provision of care. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.…
