Medical Assistant 6055 RHPA- Richmond Cardiology Assoc. Schedule: Day Shift. 24 hours. M-W-F. 7am-3:30p About the Position: Under the direction of the Provider(s) and Practice Supervisor/Manager, the Medical Assistant is the first point of care in the medical practice. This position assists the Provider(s) with patient procedures and may perform routine laboratory tests. This individual works hand- in- hand with the Provider(s) to achieve quality outcomes for the patient. Overview of Responsibilities Demonstrates ability in taking patient vitals, performing injection/immunization procedures, charting and documentation, exam room preparation, infectious waste handling, knowledge of sterile techniques, triage incoming telephone calls, routine lab procedures and collection.…
