Phlebotomy Technician Schedule: Day Shift. 36 Hours Weekly, Three 12 hour shifts. Saturday, Sunday in the Emergency Department and One 12 hour shift for Inpatient. Rotating holidays and must pick up Two 4 hour on call shifts weekly. Type additional details specific to position and/or department. About the Position Medical professionals who work within a clinical laboratory, collecting blood and samples from patients and adequately identifying, labeling, and maintaining their preanalytical integrity prior to laboratory testing. Overview of Responsibilities Properly identifies patient by asking their first and last name and date of birth and comparing to orders provided.
