POSITION SUMMARY: The Area Accounting Center Manager is responsible for leading an effective and efficient Accounting Center team of supervisors and accountants to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. The incumbent is responsible for the overall quality of accounting and statutory financial compliance. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and oversees the implementation of standardized processes and procedures that ensure financial statements are delivered timely and accurately. Maintains accountability for compliance with corporate accounting guidance, Sarbanes Oxley, US GAAP, and other statutory requirements. Manages the accounting aspects of capital expenditures, transfers, and retirements. Reviews and approves all related asset management sub-ledger transactions.…
