POSITION SUMMARY: The Wastewater Operator III is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of a wastewater treatment facility. This role monitors system performance, performs adjustments, and ensures equipment such as pumps, conveyors, blowers, and vacuum systems remain operational. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor effluent to maintain compliance and adjust treatment regimen as needed. Oversee monitoring of inbound waste loads to verify they meet inbound parameters and will not negatively impact plant health or compliance. Direct drivers to follow site safety procedures while on company property. Collaborate with operators and the manager to address treatment issues; promptly report equipment malfunctions, spills, and compliance concerns.…
