ESSENTIAL TASKS The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the class as necessary. Performs quality control inspections on all elements of roadway and storm drainage construction for Private developments to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications, county and DHEC standards. Inspects construction sites to ensure compliance with sediment and erosion control plans and regulations. Reviews cost estimates and calculations as required; generated and maintains records and reports of inspection activity.
