GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The purpose of this position is to perform skilled and semi-skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems and equipment. The position also provides guidance, instruction, and leadership to subordinate mechanics in the absence of the HVAC Supervisor, and performs related duties as assigned. Work is performed within a general framework of established procedures, with the employee responsible for determining appropriate work methods and task sequences under general supervision.
