POSITION SUMMARY: The Deep Well Operator works under minimal supervision, receives broad work instructions, and applies decision making skill to resolve moderately complex issues. The incumbent provides advice and guidance to less experienced team members and may oversee the work of other operators or laborers. The Deep Well Operator ensures that pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum equipment and other wastewater treatment are operational at all times. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains work area and other areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
