Overview The Registered Dietitian (RD) provides medical nutrition therapy services including nutrition education, assessment, reassessment, intervention, diagnosis, monitoring and condition-specific nutrition care for patients using the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) Standards of Practice in Nutrition Care and Standards of Professional Performance for Registered Dietitians.
