Overview Responsible for the integration of processes to include, coordination/management of infection prevention surveillance, data abstraction and analysis of data, leadership and regulatory reporting and staff education; and the organizing, planning, directing, and evaluation of the services provided. Has a strong focus on Performance Improvement activities to include root cause analysis, risk assessments and outbreak investigation. Manages infection prevention program in the acute care setting or in the ambulatory care setting.…
