Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform duties under the direction or supervision of a licensed medical practitioner or a registered nurse. The LPN is responsible for conducting a focused assessment of the patient to include vital signs and gathering data, implementing established plans of care, and evaluating effectiveness of treatments in the medical practice setting.
