Job Title: Medical Assistant Department: Internal Medicine Location: 12 Leach Rd Lyons NY 14489 Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: 7:00-3:30, 7:30-4, 8-4:30, 8:15-4:45, 8:30-5 SUMMARY: As a Medical Assistant, your excellent customer service and communication skills directly affect patient care as well as ensuring day to day office operations run smoothly. RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Support Conduct pre-visit planning, close care gaps, and complete health maintenance and registry work. Obtain and document patient vital signs, history, and screenings; promptly report abnormalities. Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and collect/process specimens for external testing. Assist providers and nursing staff during procedures and clinical care activities.…
