Evening Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Job Description The Patient Transporter is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of patients to and from clinical units, and various diagnostic/treatment areas via a wheelchair, stretcher or bed which may include patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips and other equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Patient Transporter responds to various alerts to prevent Emergency Department Diversion, Operating Room and Post Anesthesia Care Unit Holds, and assists with all disasters as directed.
