Porter, Convention - Banquet Set Up

Summary Statement: The Porters, Convention Banquets Set up is responsible for the setup, servicing and breakdown of all meetings and events. Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to: Quickly and efficiently retrieve all materials needed for the setup of special events. Display proper care, movement and storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs and catering equipment (rolling tables). Assist with inventory control of catering equipment and furniture. Provide prompt, courteous service to banquet members and guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Maintain safe sanitary conditions in all banquet service areas and for all banquet services equipment. Safely drive and maintain vehicles used for transporting event materials.…
