Summary Statement: The Race Sports Writer is responsible for delivering excellent service to customers placing bets in the Race Sports Book area. This role involves processing all cash transactions quickly and accurately. Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to: Greet customers, input betting information into the computer, print tickets, accept money, and provide tickets and change to customers. Accurately maintain the bank. Verify winning tickets. Address and resolve customer concerns and questions. Explain wagering information as needed. Maintain and update betting boards for customer viewing. Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing. Use personal devices/cellular phones for job-related operational tasks, duties, and review of company documents.…
