Under the direction of the Supervisor, Facilities, the HVAC Mechanic is responsible for performing a variety of standard to moderately complex technical tasks related to installing, maintaining and repairing heating, cooling and ventilation systems across the enterprise. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Maintains and services all air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and ventilation units including exhaust fans. Monitors and performs preventative maintenance on the Photocatalytic Oxidation systems (PCO), including cleaning honeycomb filters and changing UV bulbs. Adjusts valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through systems. Cleans carbon deposits, pitch, and grease from fans, vents, and ducts.…
