About this role

Maintenance Tech - 1st Shift - 6am-2pm $35.74/hr What You’ll Do As a Maintenance employee, you’ll be part of our Metals Plant team located in Chesterfield, MI. You’ll get to: Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles machinery and equipment utilizing manual and power tools. In doing so climbs, kneels, stands, sits, or crouches while handling items of various sizes, shapes, and weights. Troubleshoots problems from reading electrical and hydraulic schematics; uses electrical testing equipment. Operates a variety of mechanical equipment such as forklift, hydraulic lift, scissor lift and hand cart in order to move equipment to appropriate locations. Maintains departmental files of work orders, maintenance requisitions, preventative maintenance histories, and other related records.…
